Rachael Courage challenges ideas, draws on research and suggests helpful practice models in working with families we find difficult to engage and topics we find difficult to raise. This is an innovative, interactive session where actors will play the part of families.

Rachael Courage challenges ideas, draws on research and suggests helpful practice models in working with families we find difficult to engage. She is a qualified social worker with 20 years practice experience. She is an experienced trainer in child safeguarding and child protection and has managed sexual exploitation and missing services for Barnardos, including setting up services in new areas and working with Child Safeguarding Assurance Partnership around their strategic response to child sexual exploitation.
Rachael has been the safeguarding lead for the children and young people’s service within a hospice and has worked for the NSPCC delivering individual and group therapeutic interventions for children who have experienced abuse. Rachael is currently practicing as a Chair for Child Protection Conferences for a Local Authority.
As this is a virtual training event you will require audio/visual capability i.e. desktop with webcam plus headphones and a microphone or laptop/device with microphone and camera.

The delegate fees shown are per person.
At the point of booking, payment can be made via credit/debit card or an invoice can be requested.
Our invoice terms are strictly payment within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
Bookings are non-transferable but delegate substitutions will be accepted.
Cancellations
50% of delegate fee will be refunded for cancellations received by 18th November 2024.
After this date no fees are refundable for cancellation or non-attendance.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by email.
We reserve the right to cancel a course due to insufficient numbers.
In the unlikely event that NASS have to cancel an event, our liability in the event of cancellation is limited to a full refund of the event fee only.
