Preparing Independent & Non-Maintained Special Schools for VAT Changes – addressing the risks and challenges Thursday 7th Nov 2024 Online This Event is now Fully Booked

This webinar is free to attend and open only to NASS members

With VAT set to apply to Non-Maintained and Independent Special Schools starting in January 2025, time is extremely limited—there are just seven working weeks between the Autumn Budget and the policy going live. Significant planning is necessary to ensure schools are fully prepared for these changes.

Specialists at law firm VWV are offering a free webinar for NASS members to cover critical details of how VAT will impact them and how, given the short timeframe, schools must act quickly and carefully to avoid costly mistakes and ensure they are VAT-ready.

The webinar will cover

  • Whether your school is subject to VAT
  • The complexities of partial exemption and VAT on different services (education, health, care, welfare)
  • Key risks such as under-reporting and reclaiming too much VAT
  • Practical steps to ensure VAT compliance and effective risk management

Deadline for receipt of bookings: 4th November 2024
Deadline for booking cancellations: 4th November 2024
